Globe trotter
Alice introduced many boys and girls to the arts of reading, writing, and arithmetic during her 94 years of service. And she also mothered a very shrewd son. In addition, she was active in many Christian, civic, and professional organizations.
The world was her garden in addition to her stomping grounds: Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, South America and all the states were familiar with her shoe leather.
