| This cemetery is for the members
of the Greater Tampa Showmen's Association and their
families. Members of this association are mostly carnival
people: owners of carnivals and concessions and booking
agents. Also included are those in carnival and/or circus
acts: trapeze artists, human cannonballs, stunt car
drivers and others. This cemetery was featured in an article ("Tampa Bay's 'Six Feet Under' Tour" by Karen Haymon Long) in the June 23, 2002 The Tampa Tribune Travel Section. |
